Approximately 4 seconds per letter with a 1000mhz machine.

Each DreamText character is comparable to 1200 point type

That's it. Photoshop will do the rest. A new document is then created where each letter comes in on its own layer making it easy to adjust the letter spacing. Since each character comes into Photoshop at full size, the resulting file size may be large, for example a 10 letter word is approximately 35 Mb. Once you have adjusted the letter spacing you are ready to use the word in your main document. If your letters overlap then the layer order may need to be reversed.

Note: When accented characters are used, the DreamText Plug-in will open two files, one for the letter and one for the accent. The plug-in places the accent on top of the letter and will need to be correctly positioned manually. In some cases the layer with the accent needs to be placed behind the layer with the letter instead of in front of it. Generally, if the view of the letter is from below (i.e. you can see the bottom edge of the letter) then the accent should be moved to a layer behind the letter only if the accent and letter overlap.
